The official page and reveal for Lord of the Rings Online’s fall expansion is up, with Kingdoms of Harad touting its upcoming storyline in the hopes of drawing players into putting money down on a pre-order.
Kingdoms of Harad, which includes over 400 quests, four zones, and a level cap increase, is being sold in the usual set of three different pre-order bundles. The standard edition for $40 includes a title and a single level 150 level-up package, while the $80 and $130 editions come with additional pets, outfit slots, bank storage, mounts (camels!), and even (in the latter case) an earring that gives you an XP boost through level 150.
The fine print puts the release date for the expansion at December 3rd with an option to delay a month if, y’know, the servers catch on fire or Samwise Gamgee takes a longer nap.
Update 45.5 released on Wednesday with some more performance fixes, a new Ringwraith challenge on the Mordor and Angmar realms, and the return of Filbert Fig with some additional vendor options.
